Pouring Moulten Metal“I have spent my life as a craftsman, I work with my hands because you have to keep practicing the trade every day or you will lose touch with it” explains Peter Morenstein, President of Cirecast, Inc.

Peter started Cirecast as a young man over fifty years ago in San Francisco, where it continues to be headquartered.

After graduating college with a degree in Industrial Design, Peter learned the traditional methods of lost wax casting by reading books; at the time he could not find a course or teacher who could mentor him in the traditional techniques.

Craftsmen at Cirecast today still use the lost wax method for casting metals to provide reproduction services for architects and designers worldwide. Cirecast has refined and perfected the art of lost wax casting to produce hardware and decorative elements that have no equal.
